The Greeks had two words for time — chronos and kairos. Chronological time is quantitative. It is measurable, dominated by the tick of the clock, the appointment calendar, and the passing of years. Kairological time is qualitative. It captures the authentic dimensions of human experience, the ripeness of a given moment, the flow of life, and the connections between the past, the present, and the future.

At Kairos Educational Consulting, we want to help schools avoid "school as usual" by creating a culture of learning in which every member of the school community is setting their internal clocks by kairos

Specializing in classical education, our mission is to provide schools with high-quality, experienced, and affordable professional development that emphasizes three thingscalling, community, and humane values.
